Mathew, the second son retired from The South Indian Bank in the year 1994 as Chief Manager. After retirement he now actively participates in various activities. Founder member of Elders’ Forum, Thrissur, now treasurer of the forum. Also working as Joint Secretary of South Indian Bank Retired Staff Association. He married Valsa, daughter of Chowallur Varu and Kochumariam on February 16, 1966. He has four daughters-
1.Rinsie B.Sc., married to Jose John Thadikaran, Edathiruthy, running business in Bahrain. They have a daughter, Annmary.

2.Maksie M.Sc., B.Ed, married to Jeffo Joseph Palankan, Puthenvelikkara working in KSEB, Thrissur. She is working as lecturer in the Little Flower Higher Secondary School, Mammiyur. They have a son, Manuel Joseph.
