Dr. Jacob B.Sc. M.B.B.S., D.P.H., the only son of Dr. Joseph married Rita, daughter of Late Professor Paul Alappatt, Karanchira. He has two children Joseph and Elizabeth. Dr. Jacob was in the Malaysian Medical Service from 1962 to 1986. For services rendered he was awarded P .P .N.P from the State of Perlis, B.S.K. from the State of Kelantan and A.M.P. from the State of Pahang. Representing Malasian Medical Service he has visited the countries like United Kingdom, Europe, U.S.A., and Far East countries in the course of his public health administration. He was holding, the post of Deputy Director of Medical Health Service, Pahang State. Appointed as Medical Superintendent
of RIPAS Hospital, Brunei.
Retired and lived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Dr. Jacob expired on 3rd July 2011 at the age of 80.
