I am quite a stranger to the Panikulam family because I have hardly been with my father Dr. P.V Kurien - my parents separated only a year after I was born and have never stayed together after that. In 1993, my mother Rita, after nearly 16 years of separation from my father, obtained a divorce from a Chennai court. She subsequently married again and I changed my name to fit in with my new family. Despite her personal misfortune, my mother always spoke highly of the Panikulam family.
I am a lawyer by profession and now a senior legal consultant with one of the oldest and largest middle east based business groups, based out of Dubai, UAE. I am now 31 and was married on 10 Febbruary 2007. Nisha delivered our firstborn, a healthy baby girl, on 13 April 2008. We've named her Rahael Vivek Joseph. |
