Paul, after passing M.B.B.S. served in the Army Medical Corps for eight years as a Captain. He postgraduated in M.D. (Pathology in 1961 ). He served in Madras Medical Service for twenty years mostly as Professor of Pathology and Forensic Medicines at Madras and Madurai. For ten years he was Officer Commanding the medical units of NCC in the rank of a Major. As a Police Surgeon he has pioneered investigation in many sensational murder cases, some of which have been published in medical journals and text-books. After retirement he served as Professor of Forensic Medicines at Kasturba Meoical College, Manjpal and also at Bengazi and Tripoli (Libya) Universities and at St.John's Medical College Bangalore and as Chief Pathologist at Amala Cancer Hospital Trichur. He married Thankamma, D/o Francis Kattukaran, Trichur and has three sons, George (Georji), Francis (Vava ) and Joseph and one daughter, Annie. He is now settled at Nehrunagar, Trichur. He expired on 28-8-86. |
