Joseph (1911-1976) married Thresiakutty D/o. Cheriakutty Ullattikulam Chalakudy and settled down in Puthenchira. He rendered service as the Mandalam President of Congress as well as the Panchayat President of Puthenchira. Encashing on the abundance of goodwill which the family enjoyed in the area, he established such a raport with the people and Mr. Karunakaran, the Honourable Chief Minister of Kerala, that the family name became a password for entry into important positions in Congress and the local administrative bodies in the area. He has 4 sons and 3 daughters.
