Antony (1924) married Mary D/o Mr. Joseph Puthur, Parappur and settled down in his ancestral house. He retired as a graduate teacher. With the demise of his elder brother, Joseph, he became the Mandalam President of Congress in Puthenchira and also the Panchayt President. These positions were held by him until they were relinfuished on health grounds with the special consent of the Chief Minister. Aged 70 he is the only living Male Member of the 4th generat)on of the family and hence the present Karanavar of the Puthenchira Branch of Panikulam family.
