John, took his B.Sc and B.L. degree and started practice as an advocate at Ernakulam. He worked as Official receiver and official liquidator and continues to practice as Advocate. He is a founder member of the Vincent De Paul Society started in 1949, at the St. Mary's Cathedral Basilica. Later on he became the president of this conference, president of the Central council of the Society for the Arch diocese of Ernakulam and also President of the Society's Regional Council of Kerala. He has settled down at Ernakulam.
